Ginger 62, a popular night club group in Vancouver, had an old traditional photo booth that was not working and cost too much to maintain. SMART Pics was asked to take the traditional photo booth and bring it into the 21st century.
The SMART Pics development team spent June and July transforming the broken down traditional photo booth into a state of the art SMART Pics Social Media Booth.
Old components were replaced with state of the art digital components. The SMART Pics software was customized to Ginger 62′s needs. A live Twitter photo stream was set-up, twitter.com/ginger62pics, allowing the great moments to be shared with friends and Ginger 62 followers.
Before:
Old fluorescent lighting was replaced with LED panels and the film camera was replaced with a high-end DSLR camera.
After:
A rugged 17″ touchscreen was installed to interact with the SMART Pics software. Guests were now able to use the photo booth for free and email themselves the pictures through the SMART Pics interface.
